Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified

Assistant Professor in Data Science

with expertise in

Data Analytics (DA) software

to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong research background, teaching experience, and proficiency in industry-relevant tools such as

Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, and other analytics platforms

.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in

Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics

. Develop and deliver curriculum incorporating

DA tools and technologies

. Conduct high-impact research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Mentor students in research, projects, and career development. Collaborate on interdisciplinary research and industry partnerships. Contribute to department growth and academic administration.

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in

Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

. Strong publication record and research agenda in Data Science/Analytics. Experience in teaching or training in Data Science & DA software. Expertise in

Python, R, SQL, and Data Visualization tools

is preferred. Ability to secure research funding and engage in collaborative projects.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)

. Knowledge of

AI, Deep Learning, and Business Analytics

. Strong industry connections and project-based teaching experience.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
