Position Overview

We are seeking a committed and academically driven

Assistant Professor (IT/CS)

to join our institution. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a genuine passion for mentoring students. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding student projects, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting departmental academic activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Master's degree in

Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline

(M.Tech / MCA / B.Tech with relevant experience)*

PhD preferred

(not mandatory)

UGC-NET qualification preferred

Minimum

2-4 years of teaching or academic experience

Experience in student mentoring, academic coordination, or curriculum development will be an added advantage Technical Expertise.

(Must Be Able to Teach the Following Subjects):

Numerical Methods Theory of Computation Advanced Web Technology Data Communication & Networks Operating Systems UNIX with Shell Programming

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching for UG and PG courses Prepare and update academic materials, including: Lecture notes Lab manuals Assignments and assessments Guide and mentor students in: Academic and capstone projects Internships Basic research-oriented activities Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records Assist in curriculum design and syllabus updates Participate in academic events such as seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs Support departmental coordination and institutional academic initiatives Maintain academic standards and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines
