We are inviting applications from dynamic and qualified professionals for the positions of Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce. Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Law, and related areas.
Develop course content, case studies, and practical modules in line with current industry practices.
Conduct research and publish in reputed journals related to commerce, management, and economics.
Guide students in academic and applied research projects, including dissertations.
Participate in departmental reviews, accreditations, and curriculum development.
Collaborate with industry for guest lectures, internships, and placements.
Organize and attend national/international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Contribute to academic administration and institutional quality enhancement.
Qualifications & Experience
Assistant Professor:
Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching
Desirable Competencies
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Experience in digital tools for teaching accounting/finance (e.g., Tally, Excel).
Ability to integrate industry practices into academic content.
Active involvement in commerce-related professional bodies or consultancy.
Commitment to student development and institutional growth.
Salary
As per Institutional norms - competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
