Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate

Assistant Professor

in the field of

Hotel Management and Catering Technology

to deliver high-quality education, practical training, and mentorship to undergraduate students. The candidate should be well-versed with hospitality operations and industry standards, and capable of guiding students through academic as well as skill-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver theoretical and practical lectures in core hospitality areas such as Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office, and Housekeeping. Design, update, and maintain course content in alignment with industry trends and regulatory guidelines. Supervise student projects, internships, and skill labs. Conduct culinary and service demonstrations and oversee practical lab sessions. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and internal assessments. Mentor students in academic performance and career development. Participate in academic audits, university events, and departmental activities. Engage in continuous professional development and hospitality research.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's and Master's degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality & Tourism (as per UGC norms). NET qualification or Ph.D. in relevant field (preferred). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching or industry experience in hotel operations. Strong command of English and hospitality communication. Ability to handle practical classes, modern kitchen/lab equipment, and hospitality software.
