will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hindi language and literature, guiding students in academic and research work, and contributing to the overall academic development of the department. The role involves curriculum development, student mentoring, academic assessment, and active participation in departmental and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Learning
Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for Hindi language and literature courses.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assignments aligned with the curriculum.
Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, and class participation.
Promote innovative and interactive teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
2. Research & Publication
Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in reputed journals, and participate in seminars/conferences.
Guide students in research projects and dissertations (if applicable).
Apply for research grants and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
3. Curriculum Development
Contribute to the design, revision, and updating of syllabi to align with academic standards and emerging trends in Hindi studies.
Integrate technology and modern teaching tools in curriculum delivery.
4. Student Mentoring & Support
Provide academic counseling and guidance to students.
Encourage participation in cultural, literary, and linguistic activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Institutional Contribution
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and institutional events.
Contribute to the university's outreach, accreditation, and academic excellence initiatives.
Support in organizing seminars, workshops, and literary festivals related to Hindi.
Qualifications & Eligibility (As per UGC Norms):
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree in Hindi with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
NET / SET / Ph.D. in Hindi as per UGC regulations.
Experience:
Prior teaching experience at the university/college level preferred.
Research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong command of Hindi language, grammar, and literature.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (Hindi & English).
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic excellence.
