KL Deemed to be University was founded in 1980-81 as KL College of Engineering and later attained autonomous status in 2006, as recognized by the UGC. In 2009, it was conferred the status of a Deemed to be University by the UGC and MHRD, Government of India. In 2019, the UGC and MHRD classified it as a Category I Institution.

Job Title: Assistant Professor.

Departments: Food Technology.

Education Qualification:

Ph.D in Food Technology is mandatory

B.Tech & M.Tech/M.E in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food Processing / Dairy Technology / Food Science & Nutrition / Food Safety or relevant specialization.

Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in core Food Technology subjects such as:

Food Processing & Preservation

Food Microbiology

Food Chemistry

Food Packaging

Dairy Technology

Food Safety & Quality Control

Skill set required:

2-5 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, especially in roles related to:

Product Development

Food Quality Control

Regulatory Affairs (e.g., FSSAI compliance)

Food Packaging

R&D labs (CFTRI, NIFTEM, ICAR, etc.)
