We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting scholarly research, and contributing to curriculum development in finance and related disciplines. A strong passion for teaching and mentoring students is essential.
Key Responsibilities
:
Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in areas such as Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Investments, Risk Management, and Financial Modeling.
Develop course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and exams.
Engage in academic research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Advise and mentor students regarding academic and career paths.
Participate in curriculum review and development.
Engage in departmental and institutional activities including committees, workshops, and events.
Maintain current knowledge of developments and trends in finance and incorporate these into teaching.
Collaborate with industry and academic partners for research and internship opportunities.
Qualifications
:
Education
:
Ph.D. in Finance, or related field (for full-time or tenure-track roles).
Master's in Finance, MBA with Finance specialization, or CFA (for adjunct/visiting roles may be acceptable with industry experience).
Experience
:
Minimum 1 years of teaching or industry experience.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish (preferred for research-track positions).
Prior experience in curriculum design or academic administration is an advantage.
Skills
:
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in finance-related software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, R, Python, etc.).
Passion for teaching and mentoring.
Ability to engage students in active learning and practical application.
