Job Summary:

The Assistant Professor in Information Technology will be responsible for teaching IT-related subjects, guiding students in projects and research, and contributing to academic excellence through innovative teaching methods, curriculum development, and scholarly work.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Technology. Conduct practical and lab sessions in areas such as programming, networking, database management, and software engineering. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and evaluation tools as per curriculum requirements. Guide students in academic projects, internships, and career development. Engage in research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences. Participate in departmental and university-level academic and administrative activities. Organize seminars, workshops, and training sessions for students. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT and incorporate them into teaching. Ensure adherence to university policies and maintain academic discipline.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Qualification:

M.Tech / M.E. in Information Technology or relevant discipline with First Class from a recognized university. Ph.D. in IT (preferred as per UGC/AICTE norms).

Experience:

0-2 years of teaching/research/industry experience. Fresh candidates with strong technical and academic credentials may also apply.

Eligibility:

As per AICTE/UGC norms.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.). Knowledge of Database Systems, Networking, Web Development, and Emerging Technologies (AI, ML, Cloud, IoT, Cybersecurity). Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. Research aptitude and ability to guide projects effectively. Commitment to academic integrity and institutional development.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
