Job Description

Master's Degree in English (MA English) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per UGC norms). NET/SET in English or Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations (preferred).

Experience:

2-3 years teaching experience Teaching and/or research experience at the university/college level will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English language, literature, and communication. Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops effectively. Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research work. Engage in curriculum design, syllabus updating, and academic planning. Publish research papers in reputed journals and present at seminars/conferences. Mentor and counsel students for academic and career development. Organize and contribute to departmental literary, cultural, and language-development activities. Support institutional academic quality initiatives (NAAC, IQAC, NBA, etc.).

Key Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in English literature and linguistics. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. Research orientation and publication capability. Ability to adopt ICT-based and innovative teaching methods.
