Job Summary

The Assistant Professor (Computer Science) is responsible for teaching computer science courses, mentoring students in programming and projects, supporting research and innovation, and contributing to academic and institutional requirements in line with

UGC and affiliating university norms

Key Responsibilities

Teach UG/PG Computer Science courses as per university syllabus. Prepare lesson plans, course files, lab manuals, and teaching materials. Handle theory and practical classes (Programming, DBMS, OS, Networks, Web, etc.). Guide students in mini-projects, final-year projects, and coding activities. Conduct internal assessments, lab evaluations, and examinations. Encourage participation in workshops, hackathons, and technical seminars. Contribute to research, publications, and academic enrichment activities. Maintain academic and laboratory records; support

NAAC/IQAC

documentation. Participate in departmental and institutional committees.

Qualifications

M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science or relevant specialization (Mandatory)

NET/SET or Ph.D.

as per UGC norms Teaching or industry experience preferred (freshers may apply where permitted)

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.) Practical exposure to databases, web technologies, and operating systems Effective teaching and lab-handling skills Academic planning and documentation abilities Research orientation and project mentoring capability
