Job Summary

The Assistant Professor (CSE) is responsible for delivering quality teaching, handling laboratory and project work, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development in accordance with

AICTE and Anna University norms

.

Key Responsibilities

Teach UG/PG Computer Science & Engineering subjects as per university syllabus. Handle theory and laboratory classes in areas such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, OS, CN, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, and Web Technologies. Prepare lesson plans, course files, teaching materials, and assessment tools. Conduct internal tests, lab evaluations, assignments, and examinations. Guide students in mini-projects, final-year projects, and internships. Support research activities, publications, FDPs, and technical workshops. Maintain academic records and support NBA/NAAC/AICTE documentation. Participate in departmental and institutional committees.

Qualifications (As per AICTE Norms)Option 1 - With NET / SET

M.E / M.Tech in CSE / IT / relevant specialization

NET / SET qualified

Freshers and experienced candidates eligible

Option 2 - Without NET / SET

M.E / M.Tech in CSE / IT / relevant specialization

Minimum

1-2 years of teaching or industry experience

preferred

Option 3 - With Ph.D.

Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / allied area

NET/SET not mandatory for Ph.D. holders

Preferred Skills

Strong subject knowledge and programming skills Ability to handle labs and guide technical projects Familiarity with modern tools, coding platforms, and LMS Research orientation and documentation skills Good communication and student mentoring ability
