The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate BCA students, contributing to curriculum development, mentoring students, engaging in research, and supporting departmental activities. Candidates with expertise in
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, or related emerging technologies
will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academics
Teach core and elective courses in Computer Science and Applications for BCA students.
Deliver lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, and conduct internal assessments.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, lab manuals, and student assignments.
Use modern teaching methodologies, ICT tools, and blended learning approaches.
Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
Student Mentoring & Support
Guide and mentor students in projects, internships, and skill development.
Provide academic counselling and identify students' learning needs.
Encourage students' participation in coding competitions, hackathons, and workshops.
Research & Professional Development
Engage in research, publications, and conference participation.
Develop minor/major research proposals leading to funded projects.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, especially AI, ML, Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing.
Departmental & Institutional Responsibilities
Assist in organizing seminars, FDPs, conferences, and student development programs.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum revision, and accreditation activities (NAAC/IQAC).
Contribute to extension activities, value-added courses, and outreach programs.
Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the HOD, Principal and Director
