Job Summary

The Assistant Professor (BCA) is responsible for teaching computer application subjects, handling practical sessions, mentoring students in programming and projects, and contributing to academic and institutional activities in accordance with

UGC and affiliating university norms

.

Key Responsibilities

Teach UG BCA courses as per university syllabus. Handle theory and practical classes in Programming (C, C++, Java, Python), DBMS, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Web Technologies, and Networking. Prepare lesson plans, course files, lab manuals, and assessment materials. Conduct internal tests, lab evaluations, assignments, and examinations. Guide students in mini-projects, final-year projects, and application development. Encourage participation in coding competitions, workshops, and technical seminars. Contribute to research, publications, and academic enrichment activities. Maintain academic and laboratory records; support

NAAC/IQAC

documentation. Participate in departmental and institutional committees.

Qualifications

MCA / M.Sc Computer Science / M.Sc IT

(Mandatory)

NET/SET or Ph.D.

as per UGC norms Teaching or industry experience preferred (freshers may apply where permitted)
