The Assistant Professor (B.Com CA) is responsible for teaching commerce and computer application-oriented subjects, integrating accounting with IT tools, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional activities in accordance with
UGC and affiliating university norms
.
Key Responsibilities
Teach UG B.Com CA courses as per university syllabus.
Handle commerce subjects along with computer-oriented papers such as Accounting Software, Business Statistics, E-Commerce, Programming Fundamentals, and MIS.
Prepare lesson plans, course files, teaching materials, and assessments.
Conduct practical sessions using accounting and business software (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP tools).
Conduct internal tests, assignments, projects, and student evaluations.
Guide students in mini-projects, internships, and IT-enabled commerce applications.
Encourage participation in technical workshops, seminars, and skill-development programs.
Contribute to research, publications, and academic enrichment activities.
Maintain academic records and support
NAAC/IQAC
documentation.
Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
Qualifications
M.Com / M.Sc Computer Science / MCA / MBA
(with relevant specialization) - Mandatory
NET/SET or Ph.D.
as per UGC norms
Teaching or industry experience preferred (freshers may apply where permitted)
