Chitkara University is looking for Assistant /Associate Professor/Professor in Chitkara School of Pharmacy at Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh.



Chitkara College of Pharmacy has been ranked 16th for Pharmacy by NIRF 2023. The College offers full-time courses in the areas of Pharmacy, which include B. Pharm, Pharm.D, Phar.D. (Post Baccalaureate), M Pharmacy and M.Sc. Pharmacovigilance & Clinical Research.

It has strong industry collaborations for student training and enrichment for technical skills. The course curriculum of the Pharmacy is a combination of theory, practical and clinical exposure. Each of the faculty members holds a master's degree in respective areas with doctorate degree.

Chitkara College of Pharmacy provides various facilities for the research in Pharmaceutical Sciences like HPLC analysis, dissolution and other formulation studies, analysis of samples for infrared and UV spectrophotometric data, pre-clinical evaluation and analytical method development.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Delivering lectures and lessons, preparing course materials, and evaluating students' performance through exams, assignments, and other assessments

2. Research: Conducting original research in their area of expertise, publishing academic articles and books, and presenting their findings at conferences

3. Mentoring: Advising students and serving as role models to assist in directing their professional and academic development

4.Service: Participating in departmental and institutional activities, serving on committees, and mentor new faculty members

5.Professional Development: Expanding professional development, going to conferences and workshops, and collaborating with peers to advance their research and teaching objectives.

Excellent communication skill Good Analytical and conceptual skills Dedication and sincerity for teaching as well as research Curriculum and programs development skill

Education Qualification:-

Graduate- B. Pharmacy

Master- M. Pharm-Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice, and Drug regulatory affairs.

Ph.D./Doctorate- Pharmaceutical Sciences



Publication: At least 5 to 10 Scopus index publications (Assistant professor) and 10 to 20 for position of Associate professor and Professor



Experience-Fresher to 15 years

Personnel with industrial experience of Pharmacovigilance, R&D, and regulatory affairs will be given preference.

Candidate must have research and innovation-based expertise.
