Key Responsibilities

The position requires a balanced commitment across teaching, research, and service.

I. Teaching and Mentoring

Design and deliver

engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including lecture, lab, and online formats. Develop and revise

curriculum

to incorporate the latest industry trends and research findings.

Supervise and mentor

student research projects, including Master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations. Provide

academic advising

and career guidance to students.

II. Research and Scholarship

Establish and maintain

an active, externally funded research program in a specialized area of Computer Science.

Publish

high-quality research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Actively

seek and secure

competitive research grants and contracts from government agencies and industry. Collaborate with faculty across departments on interdisciplinary research initiatives.

III. Service and Administration

Participate in

departmental, college, and university committee

work (e.g., curriculum, faculty search, assessment). Contribute to the

growth and development

of the department, including new program initiatives and accreditation efforts. Engage with the professional community through service roles, technical reviews, and external partnerships.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D.

in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Demonstrated potential for

high-quality teaching

at the university level. A

strong record of scholarly publications

in reputable journals and conference proceedings (commensurate with rank). Excellent

written and verbal communication

skills. Commitment to fostering a

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month
