Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified

Assistant Professor

to teach, research, and contribute to academic leadership in

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

. The selected candidate will deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students, guide student projects, support curriculum innovation, and actively contribute to research and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities Academic & Teaching

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science

, and allied subjects. Prepare lesson plans, course content, assessments, and laboratory experiments aligned with university and industry standards. Guide B.Tech and M.Tech projects, internships, and dissertations. Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring.

Research & Scholarly Activities

Conduct research in AI/ML and publish in reputed

Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals and conferences

. Apply for sponsored research projects and collaborate with academic and industry partners. Encourage and mentor students for research publications, hackathons, and innovation challenges.

Departmental & Institutional Responsibilities

Participate in curriculum design, academic audits, accreditation (NBA/NAAC), and quality assurance activities. Organize and contribute to workshops, FDPs, seminars, and conferences. Support institutional initiatives, outreach programs, and industry collaboration activities.

Minimum Qualifications Required

M.Tech / M.E.

in

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science

, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university. Strong academic foundation and demonstrated specialization in

AI/ML

through coursework, projects, or research.

Preferred

Ph.D. in AI/ML, CSE, or related field

(or Ph.D. pursuing candidates with significant research output). Prior teaching or research experience in higher education institutions.

Experience & Skill SetExperience

0-3 years

of teaching, research, or relevant industry experience preferred. Exceptional fresh M.Tech graduates with strong AI/ML expertise may also be considered.

Technical & Professional Skills

Strong knowledge of

Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Neural Networks

. Proficiency in

Python

and familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as

TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

, etc. Ability to integrate practical, industry-oriented learning into teaching. Excellent communication, presentation, and student mentoring skills.
