We invite applications for the post of Assistant Professor in the field of Art History with special reference to Indian art history. Dynamic and self-driven. The candidate should demonstrate academic excellence, research capability, and will prefer 2/3 years of teaching experience in the art history and cultural traditions of India. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Art History with a focus on Indian visual art, iconography, sculpture, architecture, and painting..Guide and mentor students in research projects and theses. Undertake an independent research project. Engage in departmental, university, and outreach activities, including site visits, heritage walks, exhibitions, etc. represent the department at various forums. Also, collaborate with institutions, museums, and research bodies on interdisciplinary projects.
Teaching experience at the university level is preferred.###
