Assistant Professor - Architecture

Location: Budha College, Karnal, Haryana

About the Role

We're building a new-age Interior program that blends architecture and interior design, teaching students to design spaces that are functional, aesthetic, and human-focused.

We want designers, thinkers, and mentors who can guide students beyond technical drawings -- helping them understand how architecture shapes interiors, experiences, and lifestyles.

What You'll Do

Teach core architecture subjects with an interior lens: Spatial Design, Building Construction, Materials, Sustainable Design, Interior Architecture Conduct studios focused on interiors within architectural projects (residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.) Teach tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, etc. Help students develop concepts, moodboards, and storytelling for spaces Guide real-life projects from architectural shell to interior experience Mentor students in portfolio building and industry preparation Bring industry exposure through site visits, guest lectures, and critique sessions

What We're Looking For

Strong understanding of architectural design andinterior detailing Skilled in visualizing spaces and communicating ideas through drawings, 3D models, and presentations Passionate about human-centered, sustainable, and aesthetic spatial solutions Great at engaging students and creating an inspiring studio environment Degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture or related field -- but skills > certificates*

Bonus If You:

Have experience with interior projects as an architect or designer Showcase your work on Instagram, Behance, or personal website Love blending architecture and interiors to craft unique spaces Want to shape the next generation of architects with a modern, design-first approach
