: Asst Hospitality Operations Manager - Hyderabad
Position Overview
The Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospitality services including Cafeteria operations, Pantry services, Events management (Catering & Conference Services), and Front Office operations. This leadership role ensures seamless delivery of hospitality services while maintaining operational excellence, financial accountability, and exceptional customer experience across all service lines.

Key Responsibilities
Cafeteria Operations

  • Direct the complete cafe operation including all meal services (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, Midnight Meal)
  • Oversee kitchen production, servery setup, food displays, and SmartQ technology operations
  • Manage comprehensive data including transaction records, revenue tracking, vendor P&L, purchasing, staffing, and billing
  • Lead cafe and kitchen enhancement initiatives and menu engineering
  • Prepare and deliver client reporting including food vendor ESG metrics, KPIs, Monthly Management Reports (MMR), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Drive employee engagement activities and vendor relationship management
  • Collect, analyze, and implement improvements based on customer feedback
  • Oversee equipment management including purchasing, repair scheduling, and maintenance
  • Monitor service violation issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure Business Continuity Planning (BCP) preparedness for food service operations
  • Enforce rigorous hygiene standards and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory control, storage optimization, and vendor compliance tracking
Events Management (Conference Services & Catering)
  • Oversee daily event execution and meeting services
  • Develop and refresh catering menus through strategic menu engineering
  • Implement efficient invoice tracking and reconciliation processes
  • Lead planning and coordination for upcoming events
  • Drive continuous improvement of meeting spaces and conference facilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance for event services
  • Track and control purchases and other event-related expenditures
  • Optimize communication flow between clients, JLL teams, and service vendors
Pantry Operations
  • Monitor all pantry operations and service delivery
  • Track pantry consumption patterns and manage consumables costs
  • Manage vendor relationships for supplies and services
  • Implement data-driven decision making for pantry operations
  • Develop and execute pantry enhancement initiatives
  • Oversee inventory management and storage optimization
  • Ensure vendor compliance with service standards and contractual obligations
Reception/Front Office
  • Supervise daily front office operations and service standards
  • Manage visitor management systems and data
  • Maintain accurate incident records and reporting
  • Implement efficient data management practices
General Management Responsibilities
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all service areas
  • Prepare and present Monthly Management Reports (MMR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for clients
  • Conduct regular client engagement through daily, weekly, and monthly touchpoints
  • Manage the invoicing process and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets
  • Implement comprehensive training programs for staff development
  • Establish and maintain risk governance frameworks
  • Track and analyze incidents, implementing preventive measures
  • Foster team engagement and collaboration
  • Monitor JLL sub-vendor KPIs and performance
  • Evaluate staff performance and recommend promotions
  • Develop strategic plans for continuous service enhancement
  • Organize staff engagement activities and recognition programs
  • Managing vendor compliance
  • Efficiency in vendor selection and performance
  • Monitoring and front heading department Audits
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term strategic plans for hospitality service enhancement and innovation
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels
  • Lead sustainability initiatives within hospitality operations
  • Implement industry best practices across all service lines
