We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Officer - HR (Recruitment) to support our white-collar hiring needs. The role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process - from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating smooth onboarding. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing candidate experience, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring timely closure of positions.
Responsibilities
Source and attract qualified candidates through job portals, professional networks, social media platforms , employee referrals, campus recruitment, and other innovative channels. Continuously explore emerging recruitment methods to widen the talent pool.
Partner with line managers to understand job requirements, workforce needs, and position specifications.
Manage the entire recruitment life cycle - including job posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and joining activity.
Ensure all positions are closed within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for critical positions to avoid last-minute dropouts or "ghosting."
Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience from application to onboarding.
Maintain accurate recruitment dashboards, reports, and data for management review.
Coordinate with HR team members to support pre-onboarding and induction activities.
Continuously explore and implement best practices in recruitment to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
Good knowledge of job portals, LinkedIn, and modern sourcing techniques.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on timely execution.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ATS tools.
