We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Assistant Merchandiser
to support the merchandising team in coordinating between buyers, vendors, and production teams. The role involves assisting in product development, sampling, and order execution while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the merchandiser in daily operations and follow-up with suppliers and vendors.
Coordinate for sampling, trims, and fabric approvals.
Maintain records of orders, samples, and correspondence with buyers.
Help in preparing cost sheets, purchase orders, and production tracking reports.
Follow up with production units for on-time delivery and quality checks.
Communicate with buyers for sample approvals and order updates.
Assist in maintaining TNA (Time & Action) calendars and ensuring timelines are met.
Support in quality inspection and documentation as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate / Diploma in Fashion, Textile, or Merchandising preferred.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Basic understanding of garment production and export process (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
