Key Responsibilities:
Assist the merchandiser in
client communication
, sharing updates, sending sample photos, and following up for approvals.
Coordinate
sampling
, including fabric availability, trims, print/embroidery details, and measurement sheets.
Maintain and update
sampling trackers, order sheets, client requirements, and T&A
.
Ensure timely follow-up with sampling teams for proto, fit, PP, and size set samples.
Review samples for basic quality, measurements, and finishing before sending to the client.
Coordinate with fabric/trim suppliers for swatches, prices, availability, and approvals (no bulk purchase responsibility).
Assist in client meetings, preparing presentation folders, style sheets, and sample displays.
Maintain records of all correspondence, approvals, sample shipments, and client feedback.
Support the merchandising team with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of all sample stages.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a
garment manufacturing
environment.
Good understanding of fabrics, trims, embroidery, printing, and garment basics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic documentation.
Detail-oriented, disciplined with follow-ups, and able to multitask.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to support senior merchandisers.
