Responsibilities
- Experience of BIGDATA service automation through
- Ansible automation
- Strong expertise in Scripting Python and shell (BIDATA platform)
- Hadoop admin experience - It includes deploying a hadoop cluster, upgrade & maintaining it, adding, and removing nodes using cluster monitoring tools like Ganglia Nagios or Cloudera Manager, configuring High availability, and maintaining all the running hadoop jobs
- Implementing, managing, and administering the overall hadoop infrastructure
- Will have to work closely with the database team, network team, BI team and application teams to make sure that all the big data applications are highly available and performing as expected#VOIS_205536
- Cloudera Hadoop & Kafka Administration,
- Experience and expertise in Python & Sell scripting
- Automation using Ansible
- Knowledge of high degree configuration management and automation tools like Ansible & Python for non-trivial installation and automate area wherever possible
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS
- Knowledge of cluster monitoring tools like Ambari, Cloudera
- Good understanding of OS concepts, process management and resource scheduling.
- Basics of networking, CPU, memory and storage.
- Good knowledge of all the components in the Hadoop ecosystem like Apache Spark, Hive, Impala etc.
- Good to have OS security - (Hardening, SSL cert renewal activities, etc.)
