Key Responsibilities

+ Develop, implement, and maintain the

Master Production Schedule (MPS)

based on sales plans, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
+ Conduct

feasibility reviews

of the sales plan against installed capacity on a month-wise, week-wise, and product-wise basis.
+ Collaborate with the Sales and Project teams to review and validate the sales plan.
+ Prepare, review, and release

Plan vs Actual performance reports

(weekly & monthly) for all workstations, including analysis of delays and root-cause identification.
+ Apply principles of

Lean Manufacturing

for continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes.
+ Utilize

backward planning

techniques to meet customer required dates effectively.
+ Perform

capacity planning, capacity leveling, and line balancing

to optimize resource utilization.
+ Coordinate closely with production supervisors and planners to ensure daily and weekly schedules are met.
+ Define, monitor, and review

KPIs for production planners

to ensure planning efficiency and accuracy.
+ Identify and analyze

production bottlenecks

, recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce cycle time.
+ Work extensively on

ERP systems

for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
