Job description - HR - IR Manager
This position is responsible to:
- Demonstrate successful track record in an unionised factory environment
- Demonstrate good inter-personal skills with cross functional areas
- Proactive approach in handling the IR in the factory
- Comply with EHS needs and all statutory regulations as per Factory Act & Industrial Dispute Act
- Liaison with government authorities, Grampanchayat, local people.
- Timely Talent Acquisition for the Factory
- End to End HR & IR activities of the Factory
- Audit facing for all HR and IR areas
Detailed Responsibilities :
IR and Legal:
- Dealing with union and reconciliations
- Handling Court matters
- Resolving IR issues
- Maintain healthy relationship with the local representatives and political bodies
- Ensure amicable relationship with the Police/District Administration or other local authorities
- Maintain harmonious industrial environment.
Human Resources :
- Recruitment as per the SOP / Process guidelines.
- Ensuring Induction of new joiners at Factory.
- Performance Appraisal Process Handle and ensure the PMS process as per the Policy within the time lines.
- Attendance & Leave Management as per the SOP/Policy.
- Employee Engagement & Benefits to execute the Employee engagement activities as per plan within the Budget and ensure all Employee benefits are passed on to the employees without any deviation.
- Learning & Development Facilitate for the training programs conducted in the factory by ensuring 100% participation as per nomination.
- Exit Formalities as per the process guidelines & policy.
- Employee Feedback / Probation PIP Confirmation as per the process guidelines.
Statutory Compliance :
- Employee related statutory compliances viz. EPF, ESIC, LWF, Labour Act & Factories Act to be 100% complied
- Other compliances viz Pollution Control Board, Fire & Safety, Forest Department, DTCP, Panchayat and all essential areas relevant to Orange category processing units.
- Contract Labour Engagement & Management to ensure 100% compliance by the Contractor.
Administration :
- Ensure a hygiene work environment with proper house keeping management
- Watch & Ward 100% secured environment with proper Security System in the factory
- Ensure uninterrupted communication systems in place
- Canteen Management, & Transport Management
- Medical Facilities within the factory
- Employees Welfare & Socialisation, events management, etc.
- Maximum contribution to meet the organization vision.
- Cost control.
EHS & Compliance :
- Zero Reportable Accidents at the Construction site.
- 100% adherence to EHS Policy.
- Ensures all the statutory compliances are maintained by the contractors and updates management accordingly.
- 100% statutory compliance including necessary approvals related to site.
Team Management:
- Supervises a team of employees, Housekeeping & Security Services
- Allocates role assignment as per schedule to utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential.
- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner and mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
- Monitors performance evaluations and career development planning of team members.
MIS:
- HR Analytics and data management
- Prepare, track and control Revenue, Capital & Manpower Budgets
- Present Data to the Management in the review meetings.
Required Candidate profile -
Candidate should have 10+ years hardcore Plant HR & Industrial Relations in manufacturing plants and should have experience working on at least 2 collective bargaining agreements.
Good computer and communication skills, fluent in MS office, must be a local.
Customers Served:
Internal : Plant-1, Plant-2, Head office.
External : Government, local neighbors, contractors
