Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:

- Managing end-to-end compliances in relation to Federal and State Tax Returns which are filed with IRS and State tax authorities

- Managing end-to-end compliances in relation to Sales Tax, Franchise Tax, and any other Indirect Tax applicable to the operations of the organization in the USA

- Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax implications and opportunities.

- Oversee and coordinate tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities as needed.

Tax Planning:

- Liaisoning with various teams such as estimation, supply, logistics, etc. to implement new tax positions and strategies within the organization.

- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization\'s tax position.

- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the leadership team on potential impacts and opportunities.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare and review tax provision calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation supporting tax positions and strategies.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members\' skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Education:

- A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant professional certification preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in US taxation, with a focus on compliance, planning, and reporting.

- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is a must. This is not an individual contributor role.

- Prior exposure to the building materials or construction industry is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to convey complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Adaptability:
