Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT operations within the hospital, ensuring the smooth functioning of all information technology systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing IT support teams, maintaining hospital software and hardware systems, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations related to data security and privacy. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in improving technology usage to enhance hospital operations, patient care, and overall healthcare services.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hospital IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
Monitor the hospital's network for performance, security, and availability, addressing issues proactively to minimize downtime.
Provide timely IT support and troubleshooting for hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, administrative teams, and other healthcare providers.
Coordinate with the IT support team to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues and provide solutions to end-users.
Ensure that all hospital staff are adequately trained on new technologies and systems.
Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure that all IT practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Work closely with the hospital leadership and clinical teams to understand IT needs and help develop technology solutions that align with hospital goals.
Work collaboratively with other hospital departments (clinical, administrative, finance) to ensure the smooth operation of technology solutions and patient care processes.
Support hospital leadership in planning IT strategies and initiatives that enhance hospital performance and patient outcomes.
