Skill Set
GST Compliance & Return Filing:
o Preparation of GST Returns: Responsible for timely preparation
and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR?9C) for the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
and timely submissions.
o Reconciliation of Returns: Reconcile monthly GST returns with
the company's books of accounts (sales, purchases, and input tax
credit), and resolve discrepancies if any..
o Record Maintenance: Ensure that accurate records are
maintained for all transactions related to GST, including invoices,
tax credits, and other supporting documents.
Input Tax Credit (ITC) Management:
o Review of ITC Claims: Ensure the company is claiming Input
Tax Credit (ITC) on eligible purchases and expenses while
adhering to all GST rules and conditions.
o Track GST Credits: Monitor and ensure that GST credits are
utilized appropriately.
GST Reporting & Analysis:
o GST Analysis & Reporting: Generate periodic reports on GST
liability, sales, and purchase activities to aid in decision-making
and to help management assess the tax position.

o Data Accuracy: Ensure that all sales, purchases, and other
relevant data in the accounting system are properly aligned with
GST requirements to ensure accurate return filing.
GST Audits & Assessments:
o GST Audits: Assist in internal or external audits by preparing
necessary documentation, records, and information to ensure
smooth audits and ensure the company's compliance with GST
laws.
o Dispute Resolution: Handle any queries or disputes related to
GST assessments from tax authorities. Collaborate with legal or
tax advisory teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
GST Refunds & Exemptions:
o Refund Management: Monitor and ensure timely processing of
GST refunds, especially for export-related transactions or excess
tax credits, ensuring compliance with refund procedures.
o Exemptions & Concessions: Ensure that the company is utilizing
any exemptions, abatements, or concessions available under GST
laws.
GST Training & Knowledge Sharing:
o Training Internal Teams: Conduct regular training sessions for
the internal teams (finance, procurement, sales, etc.) on GST
updates, compliance requirements, and best practices for
maintaining accurate documentation.
o Stay Updated with GST Laws: Continuously monitor updates
and amendments in GST laws, circulars, and notifications from
the GST Council and ensure that the company is compliant with
any new regulations or changes.
GST Compliance on International Control:
o Process improvement: Conduct regular review for internal
processes improvement to ensure GST efficiency, including
whether goods or services should be taxed at a higher or lower
rate, and help with documentation to claim exemptions where
applicable.
o Exports & Imports: Ensure that GST is properly applied to
export transactions and imports, managing the related
documentation, custom clearances, and refund claims for exports.
o Cross-Border GST Compliance: Handle the GST-related
implications of international transactions, including assessing and

advising on GST for imports, exports, and cross-border supply of
goods and services.
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Compliance:
o TDS Calculation and Deduction: Ensure the correct calculation
and deduction of TDS on payments made to vendors, contractors,
employees, and other parties in accordance with applicable
sections of the Income Tax Act.
o TDS Returns Filing (TDS-1): Responsible for timely filing of
TDS returns (e.g., Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q) within the prescribed
due dates, ensuring that all details regarding deductions are
correctly reflected.
o TDS Certificates (Form 16 & 16A): Issue TDS certificates to
employees, contractors, and vendors on time (Form 16 for salaried
employees and Form 16A for others) as per statutory
requirements.
o Reconciliation of TDS: Regularly reconcile TDS deducted with
the records in the TDS returns, ensuring no discrepancies exist
between the company's books and the government database.
o TDS Compliance Review: Monitor changes in TDS rates and
ensure the company is compliant with the latest tax provisions for
TDS deduction on payments.
Tax Audits (Audit and Assessments):

Tax Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and management of
Tax Audits (under section 44AB) for the company. Ensure that all
necessary documents and financial statements are available for
audit purposes.

Documentation for Tax Auditors: Coordinate with auditors to
ensure all documents related to income, expenses, TDS, and other
financials are in place and accurately reflected for tax audits.

Monitor Changes in Tax Laws: Stay updated on amendments to
direct tax laws and regulations (like changes in tax slabs, TDS
rates, etc.), ensuring compliance and timely adjustments to
company processes.
Income Tax Notices and Correspondence:

Handling Tax Notices: Respond to any notices from the Income
Tax Department, ensuring compliance and timely submission of

required documents or clarifications.

Tax Assessments and Audits: Provide support during income tax
assessments and audits, working closely with external auditors or
tax consultants to ensure smooth handling of the process.
Other Direct Tax Related Compliance:

Filing of Other Forms: Manage the filing of other necessary
forms such as Form 15CA/15CB for remittances

Corporate Tax Provisions: Oversee corporate tax provisions and
ensure that the company is complying with all tax-related
regulations applicable to its specific business type.

Managing Withholding Tax: Ensure correct withholding tax is
applied to payments made to non-resident entities, including

proper filing of related forms like Form 15CA/15CB

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹309,540.38 - ₹1,006,216.69 per year
