Legal @ Sinch India::
Legal team is an important part of the business helping Sinch India achieve its goals. The team is responsible for providing accurate and risk mitigating advice aligned with Sinch\xe2\x80\x99s best interests and guided by Sinch\xe2\x80\x99s ethical standards of doing business. The team responds to high priority topics and works on challenging legal issues in a fast paced environment.

Essence of the Role: :
This is an individual contributor position and will report to the India legal head. To be successful in this role, you should have exceptional negotiation, contractual drafting, and business communication skills along with a proactive and hands-on approach coupled with the ability to thrive in dynamic environment.

Key Responsibility Areas: :

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, including customer services agreements, partnership agreements, telecom operator contracts (P2P operator contracts), tender documents, etc. Undertake thorough and nuanced review of contract documents to identify risks and propose commercially viable mitigations.
• Counsel sales, product, and telecom operator teams on a broad range of legal matters and advise on business initiatives; undertake risk identification and propose mitigations; be involved in resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships.
• Develop the privacy program for Sinch India mirroring the Sinch group privacy program and ensure compliance by educating and liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with law enforcement authorities and investigation agencies as part of Sinch India\xe2\x80\x99s VMN fraud handling efforts.
• Manage relationships and processes with internal teams and external stakeholders operating in the United States, the European Union and Asia Pacific region.
• Work with legal team members to develop practice standards and department processes, effectively communicate legal and policy issues.

Qualifying Criteria: :

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in law from a premiere law college with min 4 to 7 years of experience.
• Combination of in-house experience with multinational and private practice experience.
• Strong subject matter knowledge and foundation in commercial law and contract negotiation.
• Subject matter knowledge of privacy and data protection laws.
• This is a Hybrid role and job location is Sinch India corporate HO \xe2\x80\x93 Sector 132, Noida.

Good to have: :

• Experience in technology and telecom sector.
• Demonstrated privacy and data protection competency. DSCI/IAPP certified privacy professionals are preferred.

• Impeccable integrity - ethical and honest in all respects.
• Self-starter having attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects with firm deadlines.
• Ability to keep composure under pressure.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
