This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of home care services to ensure seamless service delivery, high-quality patient care, staff performance and client satisfaction. The role involves operational leadership, staff supervision, quality assurance, patient care coordination, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations of home care services to ensure efficiency and service excellence. Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures aligned with organizational standards.
Monitor the quality of patient care through regular evaluations and audits while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
The individual will assist in recruiting, training, and managing caregivers, nurses, and support staff. Continuous mentorship and performance feedback will be essential to enhance service delivery.
Care coordination is a core responsibility, which includes developing individualized care plans and facilitating effective communication among caregivers, patients, and healthcare providers. Prompt resolution of patient concerns is essential to improve satisfaction and trust.
Assist in managing the home care budget and monitor resource utilization, identifying areas for cost-saving and optimization.
Building strong relationships with clients and their families is key, along with collecting regular feedback and ensuring service-related issues are resolved promptly.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and other operational documentation.
Identify training needs and arrange ongoing education and skill development programs for staff. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in patient care is expected.
Tracking performance indicators such as service efficiency, client satisfaction, and staff productivity is essential. Also be responsible for generating and presenting periodic reports to management highlighting trends and areas requiring improvement.
