Assistant Manager - V&V (DO-254 Compliance)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager - V&V with a strong background in DO-254 compliance testing and documentation for airborne safety-critical hardware. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of digital design verification, leadership skills, and proficiency with tools such as Questa Lint, Questa Inspect, and Questa Prime. This role requires technical oversight, planning, coordination, and hands-on execution of verification activities ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage verification activities for DO-254-compliant airborne systems.
Plan and execute verification strategies, schedules, and milestones.
Review and approve verification documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
Oversee and perform static/dynamic analysis using Questa Lint, Questa Inspect, and Questa Prime.
Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and test artifacts.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, systems, and quality to ensure certification readiness.
Mentor and guide junior V&V engineers and support technical training.
Interface with certification authorities and participate in audits/reviews.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is mandatory.
PG Diploma or certification in VLSI design is desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in V&V engineering with significant exposure to DO-254 compliance.
Expertise in VHDL, RTL simulation, and verification techniques.
Strong experience with Questa Lint, Questa Inspect, and Questa Prime.
Familiarity with CEMILAC/FAA/EASA certification processes.
Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS).
Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Python, or Perl).
Experience working with PLM and ALM tools.
Knowledge of robustness testing methodologies and safety analysis (e.g., FMEA).
