Assistant Manager - US Insurance - Property & Casualty Claims - 5+ Years - Mumbai (Night Shift)
Location- Mumbai
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance professional to lead end-to-end claims operations, including recovery, fraud checks, third-party claims, and payment authorization in an international voice-based BPO setup. The role demands team leadership, quality adherence, productivity initiatives, and cross-border stakeholder management during US night shift hours.

Responsibilities -

  • Manage day-to-day claims operations, ensure SLA adherence, and deliver performance as per defined KPIs.
  • Handle end-to-end P&C insurance claims processes including at-fault claims, third-party claims, recovery, and fraud evaluation.
  • Conduct QA audits, process improvements, and ensure productivity meets annual targets.
  • Execute payment processes ensuring checks on payee legitimacy, payment method, authorization, and fraud red flags.
  • Manage team schedules, appraisals, 1:1s, leave planning, and transport coordination.
  • Identify top performers for succession planning and reward initiatives.
  • Liaise with US clients and ensure transparent communication through reports, dashboards, and review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance, manage risks, and participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives for process enhancement.
Requirements-
  • Graduate with 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations, specifically in claims handling, fraud, recovery, and at-fault claims.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in team handling is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of P&C claims lifecycle and payment compliance protocols.
  • Experience in US insurance claims processes and international voice-based BPO environment.
  • Flexible to work in US night shift timings.
  • Strong communication, quality control, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
