Basic Function

Be a part of daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing Creation of tasks, Requirements definition and translation to Jira Clears project obstacles and impediments that could slow down the team's progress Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end-users Collaborates with clients/stakeholders to determine project scope and vision Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements Research, reviews, and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes Create and maintain documentation including technical requirements and design Move seamlessly between business problems, SQL coding and reporting Readiness to work in all stages of BI Project that includes Logical and physical design, implementation, testing and deployment

Essential Functions

Works with the stake holders to fully understand the business problem and how to deliver relevant data and reports that lead to the right insights Partner with the operations, technology and business teams to understand requirements and convert them to insightful reports and dashboards Manage multiple priorities and projects, to take initiative, and to solve problems creatively and positively Help team follow best agile practices

Technical Skills

Minimum 3-4 years of full stack business intelligence experience Develop and execute database queries over MSSQL and PLSQL Good understanding of MSBI stack including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS Data gathering, research and analytical abilities to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions Create visualizations and reports that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations Proficient in writing DAX queries and creating efficient data models within Power BI Working knowledge with Databricks is good to have Proficient in MS office tools

Process Specific Skills

Business Domain - Insurance

P&C Insurance domain understanding / past working experience Understanding of Subrogation process will be an add on Ability to comprehend the business processes and associated Application functionality by understanding code and consulting with the business & operations teams
