Key Responsibilities ()

  • Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of surface transportation operations, vendor management, vehicle types, capacity, and vendor base of all the lanes and types.
  • Planning and optimize the available resources and maximize efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and improve delivery timelines, TAT for acknowledgement & vendor invoices.
  • Provide support in resolving customer inquiries or issues related to surface transportation and deliveries.
  • Regular reports on transportation performance, daily status report, PPT and other related data. Maintain accurate records to present or provide the same to customer and seniors whenever required.
  • Collaborate with other departments, warehousing, sales, pricing and including vendors to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Maintain a good relationship with existing vendor, customer, teammates, and other department.
  • Submit the quote to customer, pricing and sales team on time.
  • Replying to customer, vendor, teammates, seniors and other department on time.

Job Requirements
Qualifications: Any Graduates * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation management or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of surface transport regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with vehicle planning, GPS systems, and Transport management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data for improving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with drivers, vendors, and other teams.
  • Full-time hours with the potential for occasional overtime, especially during peak periods.
  • Travel may be required to visit customer place, warehouses, or remote locations.
