What you'll be doing:
As Assistant Manager you will support the digital and operational transformation of the organization, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with retail operations to drive innovation, growth, and enhanced customer experiences.
This role combines deep understanding retail and technical acumen to redefine the retail environment, creating value through innovative IT solutions, data-driven decision-making, and optimized customer engagement.
The role focuses on driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of best practices, processes, and tools across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to streamline operations across sales, inventory and customer service.
Support the Implement data-driven methodologies to monitor, evaluate, and improve performance.
2. Innovation and Digital Transformation:
Research and support the deploy emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance retail operations.
Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive retail IT landscape.
3. Change Management:
Act as a catalyst for change, support adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
Support teams in transitioning to improved practices through training and mentoring.
4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
Work closely with departments such as, Audit marketing, supply chain, and store operations to ensure cohesive implementation of initiatives.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams to foster innovation.
5. Project Management:
Maintain project tracker and escalate any deviations from timelines. Maintain the risk and issue log and support troubleshooting.
Ensure sustainability of execution/ implementation post rollout and track ROI.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
Understanding of Retail Technology Platforms
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
Agile and Project Management Methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, word
Understanding of customer-centric IT innovations and data analytics
stakeholder management capabilities
Proficiency in process optimization, and performance measurement tools
Experience:
7 years of experience in business transformation, process optimization, or project management roles.
