Position: Manager - Tax

Qualification - CA semi-qualified / qualified

Location - Chennai, India

A leading domestic professional services firm with three major verticals - Process Consulting & Digital Transformation, Audit & Assurance, and Taxation - is seeking a Taxation Manager to join their team.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Preparation of simple to complex tax returns for individuals. small businesses & corporates

- Knowledge of International Tax & Transfer Pricing

- Tax opinions on complex matters

- Advisory for M&As

- Knowledge of GST and Income tax provisions

- Knowledge about ITR Forms

- Prior work exposure to the preparation of financial statements

- Knowledge of preparation of provisional and projected financial statements including preparation of CMA data

- Prior work exposure of filing income tax returns & forms, TDS returns & GST monthly (GSTR1 & GSTR 3B) & annual returns (GSTR-9 & 9C)

- Prior work exposure in preparation and filing of Form 3 CD, transfer pricing reports, MAT reports, CARO and other reports as per the provisions of the relevant Acts.

- Filing of Form 15CA & 15CB

- Drafting reply letters and compiling documents for income tax scrutiny

- Ability to prepare cash and funds flow statement

- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.

- Prepare audit paperwork following standards and requirements

- Strong analytical and accounting skills

- Provide general support/opinion to clients in attending to their queries on tax-related matters both in written and oral form.

- Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.

- Proficiency in MS Office and Tally (Latest Version)
