Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Stores (Corporate) will be responsible for managing central store operations across multiple units/plants. The role involves inventory planning, stock control, material accounting, and ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, units, and corporate office for effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and monitor stores operations at corporate level, ensuring availability of raw materials, consumables, and spares. Coordinate with unit stores teams to standardize processes, documentation, and reporting. Implement effective inventory control systems (ERP/SAP) to reduce stock discrepancies. Plan and monitor stock levels, ensuring optimum inventory without overstocking or shortages. Ensure timely inward and outward material movements with proper documentation (GRN, Issue Slips, Return Notes). Conduct periodic stock audits, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company audit requirements. Collaborate with procurement and accounts teams for smooth material flow and vendor management. Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices and corporate safety standards in store operations. Prepare MIS reports, consumption analysis, and stock status for management review. Support cost control initiatives through efficient inventory management.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of corporate-level stores & inventory management. Proficiency in ERP/SAP or similar inventory management systems. Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Strong coordination and communication skills for inter-departmental and inter-unit collaboration. Leadership qualities to guide and support unit-level stores teams. Knowledge of compliance, audit, and safety requirements.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
