Supporting head -Manufacturing (Assembly) for all manufacturing engineering activities to deliver quality supplies on time and at optimal cost. Responsible for 5S and Safety implementation, driving process improvements, deliver continuous improvement projects, kaizens, SMED projects, developing tooling required for the assembly process, prove out of new products assembly process, design and development of jig and fixture, automation of valve assembly process with inbuilt poke-yoke controls, NPDs, Development of assembly fixture based on the process needs and new products.

Accountability:

• Responsible for * Understanding and technicality of drawings, manuals, procedures, process required for assembly line.
• Creating and maintaining WI/CP/PFMEA/SOP/JSA Inspection check sheets for existing / new products.
• Layout Standardization for entire factory and ensure lean practice on designing the existing / new Line layouts, Material Flow from start to end.
• Identifying the projects for automation requirement to eliminate the manual work through automation and capable to estimate the investment vs ROI and framing up the technical requirements.
• Coordinating with regionalization projects within the timeline (Layout modification, new equipment requirement, Jig and Fixtures, other equipment requirement to support the project.
• Design and development of suitable fixture with built in poke yoke controls for valve assembly. Procurement of same and tryouts on receipt
• Coordinate with shop floor team and demonstrate / prove out the required process.
• Identify and coordinate with supplier for technical expertise to take the project and able to get the quote and do comparative negotiations for best cost recommendations.
• Establishment of standard times, conduct cycle time study and line balancing, eliminate the NVA for existing / New product lines.
• Demonstrate and coordinate with operator for prove out of assembly process, equipment\'s prove outs, cycle time prove outs.
• Lead and implement the 5S in entire factory and drive for world class standard.
• Identify and validate JSA/HIRA periodically for existing and new equipment\'s
• Lead and drive the LEAN projects and VSM projects.
• Process routing in ERP system and capture with special requirements, technical requirements, etc.,
• Generating and Implementation of Kaizens, SMED, 5S, Safety improvement opportunities and Poke-Yoke system in production processes.
• Identify and execute the lean process and process improvement, cost saving projects in Assembly shop.
• To improve safe working methods and safe working conditions to achieve zero accidents.
• To analysis the root cause on process issues and take appropriate CAPA.
• To train operators for establishing the new product assembly process on SOP, WI, CP, PFMEA, JSA and inspection reports.
• Afford technical support of manufacturing aspect for other departments and company projects.

• Degree in mechanical with minimum 8 years\' experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Working Knowledge of Pneumatic control, PLC, Jig and Fixture Design, Drawing and Design standards.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and IOT 4.0
• Working knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Managerial skill and ability to work independently with people at all levels.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of valve / product assembly processes
• Knowledge on root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Experience in shorten cycle time on continuous assembly workstation.
• Hands on experience on low-cost automation techniques.
• Experience in 5S, cell design and line balancing
• Working in Oracle Environment
• Must be able to work hands on in the shop floor

• Individual Contributor Position but should be comfortable to work in a matrix organization.
