Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for Pan India as a Assistant Manager- for the Swachh Bharat Mission Project. The Manager will lead and manage a team of experts in the development and implementation of SBM projects and programs. They will oversee the execution of solid waste management projects, establish partnerships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Salary : - Upto 45,000 Per Month. Job Role : - On-site (Full time role) Location :- Pan India Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Swachh Bharat Mission or in a similar role. 3. Experience managing the Swachh Bharat Mission Project and leading a team of professionals. 4. Experience in applying international best practices in solid waste management. 5. Excellent knowledge of solid waste management processes, SBM Guidelines technologies, and systems. 6. Ability to generate reports and analyze data. 7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills. 8. Experience with government regulations and compliance is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Develop a customized plan for efficient door-to-door collection, 4-level segregation, transportation, and processing of waste. 2. Monitor all solid waste management activities and report any gaps to the Municipal Commissioner. 3. Conduct a realistic assessment of the quantity, characterization, and classification of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), analyzing the current situation and making predictions. 4. Review existing Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) systems and propose appropriate waste collection, segregation, transportation, waste reduction, reuse and recycling facilities, solid waste management technologies, and landfill sites. 5. Plan for resource requirements and implementation strategies. 6. Assist institutional experts in reviewing feasible utility setups related to solid waste management operational plans, SWM plans, and ease of implementation for sustainable and reliable sanitation services. 7. Develop strategies for achieving 100% source segregation and door-to-door collection of various types of waste, including households, commercial establishments, markets, and more. Implement suitable incentive structures to promote source segregation and recycling. 8. Create a detailed transportation plan for moving waste from primary and secondary collection points to the proposed processing or landfill plant, including the specific processes involved. 9. Analyze the need for Transfer Stations and provide basic design features for them. 10. Develop Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign models and enforcement plans to raise awareness about solid waste management. 11. Establish realistic performance parameters and targets for the new utility setup responsible for the operation and management of solid waste services. 12. Propose performance indicators to achieve cost-effective, sustainable, accountable, transparent, and environmentally friendly municipal service delivery related to solid waste management systems. 13. Plan for the utilization of inert materials like Construction & Demolition waste. 14. Explore opportunities for reclamation and bio-mining of old dumpsites, E-waste, and plastic waste. 15. Provide technical support for effective IEC, sanitization, and other solid waste management activities. 16. Prepare tender documents for solid waste management projects. 17. Support in managing the MIS portal for SS2024, including MIS, GFC, Swachh City, Swachh Manch, ODF, and water pus protocols. 18. Support social media management in accordance with SBM guidelines. 19. Define the roles and responsibilities of the Solid Waste Management Unit and prepare job descriptions for key staff involved in solid waste collection.
