The Assistant Manager - Counselling will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire counselling operations. The role involves supervising a team of 30 counsellors, improving lead engagement processes, driving conversions, and ensuring smooth execution of all admission-related activities. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep Ed-Tech experience and expertise in data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities1. Team & Process Management
Manage end-to-end counselling operations for a team of 30 members.
Oversee daily workflow including website lead calls, client requirement analysis, WhatsApp communication, and follow-up systems.
Ensure team members consistently maintain accurate and updated client records in Excel/CRM.
Train, monitor, and guide the team to maintain quality standards in communication and counselling.
2. Lead Conversion & Performance Monitoring
Drive strategies to improve engagement and maximize admissions from all lead channels.
Track and enhance the overall conversion rate to achieve a minimum of 5%.
Monitor team performance metrics (call productivity, follow-ups, lead status accuracy, pipeline health).
Implement best practices to strengthen lead nurturing and faster decision-making.
3. Reporting & Data Management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Analyze lead quality, counsellor performance, and conversion trends to take corrective actions.
Use MS-Excel and Google Drive extensively for tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
4. Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to streamline processes.
Provide actionable insights to improve lead quality, workflow efficiency, and overall customer experience.
Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proven experience managing large counselling teams in the Ed-Tech sector.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in
Hindi and English

Graduate in any discipline (Required)
