The Assistant Manager Sales will play a sales-driven role, responsible for customer engagement, requirement understanding, commercial coordination, account management, and sales reporting. Technical involvement is limited to post-installation verification and coordination only to support customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Meet, engage, and manage key customer accounts in assigned territories
Understand customer needs and support solution selling and deal closure
Participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure order execution and customer commitments are met
Generate, maintain, and present sales MIS, pipeline reports, forecasts, and customer trackers
Ensure timely follow-ups for quotations, approvals, documentation, and handover
Travel requirement: 50% local market & 50% intercity / territory travel
Post-installation inspections
Conduct post-installation site visits only to:
Verify installation is as per agreed scope
Identify visible installation issues or malfunctions
Coordinate with service or project teams for rectification
Provide basic operational orientation to customers if required
This role does not involve system design, commissioning, or breakdown service.
Required Skills
Strong background in HVAC & Refrigeration sales / account handling
Good working knowledge of HVAC systems for sales discussions
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Strong command of MS Excel (MIS, trackers), PowerPoint, and Word
High level of coordination, follow-up, and client relationship skills
