: Assistant Manager - Sales

Department: Sales & Marketing (Inbound & Outbound)

Reporting To: Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing, Tamil Nadu

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Sales (Inbound & outbound) is responsible for managing assigned leads and driving sales across Tamil Nadu, with a strong focus on the Chennai market. The role requires achieving sales targets, managing leads through the CRM system, planning and executing site visits, coordinating with internal teams for quotations and designs, and ensuring seamless client engagement. The candidate must be proactive, result-driven, and capable of converting assigned opportunities into successful closures.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Conversion Manage and convert assigned leads into sales opportunities. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, detailed site visits, and on-site demonstrations to influence purchase decisions.



Proactively follow up with leads to ensure timely closure.

CRM & Process Management

Update all lead interactions, progress, and status in the CRM system regularly.



Coordinate with the CRM Manager for quotations, proposals, and design submissions.

Schedule, document, and track all site visits within the CRM to maintain transparency and accountability.



Maintain high standards of data accuracy and reporting in CRM. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

Act as the key contact point for assigned clients.



Provide detailed product knowledge and commercial/technical insights to clients during meetings and site inspections.

Build long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals. Reporting & Coordination

Report sales progress, pipeline updates, and site-visit outcomes to the Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing .

Share market feedback, competitor insights, and customer requirements with the management team.



Collaborate with internal design, operations, and CRM teams for seamless project execution.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Conversion rate of assigned leads.

Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of CRM updates, including site-visit records.

Number of site visits successfully planned, executed, and closed with positive client feedback.

Client satisfaction scores and volume of repeat/ referral business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
