Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing

Industry : Rigid Plastic Packaging

Location : Andheri East, Mumbai

Assistant Manager sales & marketing will play crucialrole in driving the business development initiatives within the pharmaceutical packaging sector.The role focuses on identifying approaching and nurturing new mid - level customers, creating inquiries and supporting lead generation for senior sales team members. This position will also assist in building strategic relationships with major OEM's and MNC clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth.

Key responsibilities :

1. New Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential mid level customers within the pharmaceutical industry, presenting product offering and creating new business inquiries.

2. Lead generation : Generate leads and set up meetings with major Original Equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Multinational Corporations (MNCs) for the team leaders and senior management.

3. Sales Strategy Implementation : assist in developing and executing sales strategies aligned with the company's business goals and revenue targets.

4. Client Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

5. Sales Research : provide support to the sales team by gathering market intelligence, assisting withproposal development and preparing relevant presentations.

6. Marketing : Collaborate with ghe team to develop promotional materials and compaigns aimed at driving customer engagement and inquiry generation.

7. Reporting and Analytics : Track, analyze and report on sales activities , lead conversations and customer feedback, providing and actionable insights.

8. Cross - functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal departments such as production and supply chain to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Basic requirements :

1. Basic degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

2. 3-5 yrs of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the rigid plastic packaging or pharmaceutical packaging industry.

3. Proven track record of lead generation and client acquisition.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior team members.

6. Familiarity eith CRM tools and sales software.

Preferred Skills :

1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging regulations and industry standards.

2. Experience in working with OEMs and MNCs.

3. Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.

4. Strong negotiations skills.
