Job Description

Strategic Sourcing:

+ Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect materials (MRO, consumables, tools, safety equipment, office supplies, etc.).
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

Supplier Management:

+ Evaluate, select, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
+ Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.

Purchase Order Management:

+ Ensure timely creation and approval of purchase orders in SAP.
+ Track order status and expedite deliveries to avoid production delays.

Budget & Cost Control:

+ Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to cost targets.
+ Conduct regular spend analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives.

Compliance & Documentation:

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
+ Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

+ Work closely with maintenance, production, and finance teams to forecast requirements and align procurement plans.
+ Support plant projects by sourcing required indirect materials and services.

Education & Work Background

* Bachelor's degree - Mechanical Engineering preferred. Minimum 5-years of experience in indirect procurement in automotive manufacturing industry
