Requires a deep understanding of PowerBI and its capabilities, as well as the ability to work with data and communicate it in a user-friendly manner.This role requires in addition leadership and project management skills, collaborating with direct stakeholders, namely in Business Systems Team.Role and ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the business collaborators to understand their requirements and translate them into PowerBI solutions.Designing the overall BI solution architecture (both functional and technical)Following standard methodologies for data governance, security, and privacy within PowerBI projectsCreating and handling interactive visualizations and dashboards (or mobile app prototypes) that effectively communicate data insights (Data visualization).Optimizing reports and dashboards for speed and performanceDocumenting the technical design and operational procedures related to the BI solutions.Supervising PowerBI projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business needs and are delivered on time.Ensuring the quality of the BI solutions through testing and validation.Providing training and support to end-users to help them make the most of the PowerBI solutions.Understanding the data model and hence what is or is not possible.Liaise with the data team to suggest required changes on data side to work towards \xe2\x80\x9cas far downstream as possible\xe2\x80\x9d.Undertaking appropriate data transformation, if required on BI sideData validation and quality checks to ensure dashboards behave as desiredGuiding the customer during acceptance testingLogging and investigating customer support issues and questionsWork to agreed timelines whilst sustaining quality outcomesCreate and maintain a standardized, standard methodology development frame workLead and guide potential additional BI resources (internal or external)The responsible in this role will have the opportunity to propose new solutions, either within the existing Power BI setup or to suggest how additional functionality could better support the business.We would like to start utilising the data to drive intelligence, so this is a tremendous area of opportunity to engage in.Essential Skills and experienceProfessional experience in Business Intelligence with at least 3 years hands on experience with Power BI.Consistent track record of different Power BI use cases. A certification is desiredA very good knowledge of user experience design for BI solutions allowing to suggest possible design options in the prototyping phaseAbility to understand and translate business ideas into dashboard solutions as well as to appropriately connect with business collaborators directlyKnowledge and usage of neighbouring Microsoft applications \xe2\x80\x93 like Power Apps and Power Automate - is of advantageFirst team lead experience / playing the role of senior point of contact among multiple BI developers requiredIn depth knowledge of working with different data sets under standard methodology approaches required (master keys, key linkage, star schema, etc)Basic SQL skills for data exploration and data testingAn ability to detect challenges early and to raise itAttention to detail to ensure any reports released have accurate dataA proactive approach and focus on team successA strong command of English and effective communication skillsExcellent analytical and logical thinkingHighly motivated self-starter, driven for results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks concurrentlyGood communication and presentation skillAbility to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Desirable Skills and experiencePower BI Certification, AgileExperience in Pharma, Life SciencesWHY JOIN US?We\xe2\x80\x99re a network of high-reaching self-starters who contribute to something far bigger.
