- QMS Assistant Manager

Position: Assistant Manager - QMS

Location: Sonipat

Salary: ?40,000 - ?50,000 per month

Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical) or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within manufacturing/automobile industry

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain QMS (ISO 9001:2015, IATF16949-2016) across plant operations.

Conduct audits (internal, ISO, IATF, DGQA) and ensure compliance with customer and statutory requirements.

Handle documentation, method cards, process validation, inspection plans, and quality standards.

Analyze rejections and customer complaints using 8D, WHY-WHY, PSP methods; prepare action plans.

Coordinate testing of raw materials, in-process inspections, and final dispatch quality.

Train and guide teams on QMS, quality procedures, and continual improvements.

Lead preventive/corrective action initiatives, KAIZEN, and Poka Yoke implementation.

Prepare MIS reports, customer audit responses, and quality documentation.

Supervise quality labs (Spectro, Microstructure analysis, PDI) and ensure robust quality control.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Experience in quality audits, rejection analysis, and process improvements.

Hands-on knowledge of SAP, MS Office, AutoCAD.

Strong leadership, team handling, and problem-solving skills.
