Key Responsibilities:

Project Quality Management:

Ensure implementation of quality standards across all stages of the greenfield project including civil works, mechanical installations, and utilities.

Greenfield Project Execution:

Support the execution of greenfield projects from the ground up, ensuring quality protocols are established and maintained throughout.

Layout Preparation:

Assist in developing plant and machinery layout ensuring alignment with process flow, safety, and productivity.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination:

Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for timely completion of quality-assured civil and mechanical works.

Quality Assurance (QA):

Conduct QA audits, inspections, and verifications of civil works, structural installations, and machinery foundations.

Legal and Statutory Documentation:

Maintain and verify all legal, statutory, and regulatory documentation related to project and quality compliance.

Cost & Price Negotiation:

Collaborate with SCM and procurement to negotiate pricing, technical compliance, and quality terms with suppliers and contractors.

MIS & Reporting:

Generate and present detailed project quality MIS reports for senior leadership and stakeholders to drive data-based decision-making.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Work closely with project managers, operations, production, and SCM teams to ensure seamless integration of quality objectives within project timelines.

Technical Evaluation:

Evaluate supplier and contractor technical capabilities and quality management systems.

Risk Assessment:

Identify potential project risks related to quality, suggest mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.

Documentation & SOPs:

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for project quality control and ensure strict adherence during project lifecycle.

Sustainability & Compliance:

Promote adherence to EHS standards and sustainability guidelines in alignment with company policies.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Proven expertise in greenfield project execution and quality control. Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, BIS, etc.) and civil/mechanical engineering practices. Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures. PMP / Six Sigma / ISO Internal Auditor Certification - Advantage
