Experience required:
5-8 Years (Should have been worked Production & Planning)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily / weekly / monthly production plans based on demand and ensure resources availability. (Manpower & Material)
Ensure that products comply with quality standards and customer specifications. Work with QC / QA teams to define inspection points, process checks, and corrective actions
Reduce rework, defects, and wastage.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety rules, permits, and regulation, Enforce workplace safety practices and protocols Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions
Liaise with procurement, stores, planning, maintenance, and quality teams, Participate in meetings, report production status, issues, and improvement proposals.
Communicate with senior management about capacity, constraints, and investment needs
Implement lean manufacturing tools, 5S, Kaizen, or similar techniques. Lead projects to improve processes, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance throughput
Monitor results of improvement initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial) or equivalent
Minimum 5 to 8 years experience in manufacturing / production environment
At least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Hands?on experience with production planning, process improvement, cost control
Knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and process control
Understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction techniques
Basic computer skills--MS Excel, production software / ERP
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
