Role Summary
Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.).
Main TasksPlanning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions
Your ProfileBachelor/ Diploma in Engineering with 10-12 years of Exp (Mechanical/ Automobile Stream) preferred Has exp. of working in Automotive Tier-1 organization, MNC experience preferred Has hands-on experience as Production 2nd line for Injection Moulding, Assembly operations plant having responsibility span of Team Leaders and operators. This position will report to Production Head and Production Shift Engineers /Team Leaders will report to this position
Skills ExperienceTeam Management & Leadership Skills Familiar with required production processes and working processes (e.g. Media pleating, plastic injection molding, Plastic welding, assembly) Knowledge in applying IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, PFMEA requirements Hands-on Experience in Production 4M Planning, 5S approach, VSME Techniques, Shopfloor operating model, continual improvement topics Familiar with Total Quality Management, HSE requirements, Lean Principles execution Able to use Microsoft Office tools, SAP
